Therapy

We offer therapy for individuals, families, groups and couples.

TRAINING

Caregiver training and support is offered to caregivers and family members of patients suffering from specific memory-related disorders. We also offer in-house training to staff members of residential facilities such as care homes and retirement villages. Training is specifically adapted according to the needs of the client but often includes topics such as the management of various behavioural and emotional difficulties associated with dementia care. Talks/seminars are done on specific request.

diagnostic assessments

We are able to conduct a clinical assessment and diagnose a variety of psychiatric conditions. Although this often forms part of an initial therapeutic process, some clients require specific assessments to assist in the diagnostic and treatment planning process. We provide this service in conjunction with relevant healthcare professionals such as Occupational Therapists, Neuropsychologists and Psychiatrists.

FEES & HOURS

MEDICAL AIDS

This practice is contracted in to most medical aids. First consultations are always payable in cash on the day of the consultation, regardless of medical aid membership. Please enquire to ensure your medical aid is included.

PRIVATE PAYMENTS

All private clients are required to make payment in cash on the day of the appointment or upfront via EFT (proof of payment required). Card facilities are available.
